StockDrop is operated by SellerGrid (Pty) Ltd, registration 2026/279176/07. Contact: hello@stockdrop.co.za · 060 477 2730. Business / correspondence address: Unit G8, Riversands Outlet Park North, 75 Century Boulevard, Riversands, Fourways, Gauteng, 2191, South Africa. Visits and collections require an arrangement with our team.
Information we collect
We process contact and account details, delivery addresses, order and return records, payment references, support messages and basic technical/security logs. Seller applicants supply their shop and legal/trading names, email, telephone, dispatch city and a description of their products. Seller review decisions, terms acceptance and product/order attribution are recorded. Do not submit identity documents or banking details through the public application form.
Why we use it
We use information to create accounts, review seller applications, fulfil purchases, arrange delivery, manage returns, prevent fraud and meet legal/accounting obligations. Contract performance, legal obligations and legitimate interests may provide the basis for processing; where consent is required, we will request it separately. Information needed for an order or application is mandatory for that service; optional information is identified. We do not treat an account or purchase as blanket consent to marketing.
Who receives it
Authorised SellerGrid staff and service providers process information needed for their role. Paystack handles payment processing; Bob Go and the selected courier handle delivery information. Hosting and technical providers support the store. The supplying seller may receive information necessary to fulfil an order or resolve an issue, but not permission to use it for unrelated marketing. Public seller pages show approved shop information, not private application contact fields. We do not sell customer personal information.
Payments and security
Paystack handles card entry; StockDrop retains transaction references and order/payment status rather than full card details. We use access controls and encrypted connections and limit staff access, but no online system is risk-free. Keep account credentials private and contact us about suspected misuse.
Retention and international processing
Records are retained for the purposes described, applicable legal retention duties and the resolution of disputes, then deleted or anonymised when no longer required. Some service providers may process information outside South Africa; applicable safeguards and lawful transfer requirements must be met.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction or deletion, object to qualifying processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Some records must be kept by law. Contact us using the details above; we may verify your identity before responding. You may complain to the Information Regulator. See our cookie notice for browser storage.
