A separate way to shop

Ordinary shop items are buy-now purchases. Only lots clearly marked as auctions accept bids. Auction availability depends on the published schedule.

Before bidding opens

Each auction must provide its applicable rules, seller/auctioneer details, lot description and condition, opening and closing time, bid increment, reserve arrangements where relevant, charges and payment/delivery requirements. Do not bid if those details are unclear; contact hello@stockdrop.co.za first.

Bid responsibly

Only bid if you are at least 18, authorised to buy and able to pay the amount you offer. Do not manipulate bidding, bid on your own lots, or place misleading bids. Read the lot’s closing and winning-bid rules, including any extension or reserve conditions.

Current launch status

Live bidding remains closed while auction-specific rules and the winning-bid checkout are finalised and tested. These general notes do not replace the rules required for an individual auction.

Consumer rights

Auction purchases can have different cancellation rules from ordinary online purchases. Applicable statutory rights remain in force. Contact StockDrop with any complaint about a lot or bidding process.
