Shopping with StockDrop
These terms apply to this website, customer accounts and purchases. Shop in your own name or with authority for your business. You must be at least 18 to enter into an order or bid. Keep your account details accurate and your password private.
Products and sellers
StockDrop offers new, used and refurbished goods. Read the condition, description, inclusions and photographs before ordering. Where a marketplace seller supplies an item, their shop name is shown on the product and order. StockDrop coordinates customer support and payments. Approval of a seller is not a guarantee of every product; your statutory rights remain available.
Prices, orders and payments
Prices are displayed in South African rand. Review products, quantities, the final total and delivery charge before placing an order. Payment is processed through Paystack using the methods offered at checkout. A payment confirmation does not mean an item has been dispatched. We will notify you if stock cannot be supplied and arrange the appropriate refund. We will not substitute an item or increase an accepted price without your agreement. If a genuine pricing error is identified, we will contact you to resolve it rather than charge more automatically.
Delivery and returns
Standard delivery is R59 per order to South African addresses; international delivery is not offered. See our delivery policy and returns policy. Any delivery estimate communicated for an order is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise. Tell us promptly about a delay, missing parcel or damaged delivery.
Auctions
Auctions are separate from ordinary buy-now purchases. Read the lot description, condition, closing time and applicable auction rules before bidding. See auction terms. A general shop listing is not an auction unless identified as one.
Acceptable use and complaints
Do not misuse accounts, submit fraudulent information, interfere with the service, or copy material you do not have rights to use. We may restrict misuse or suspend a seller while investigating a complaint, without removing consumer remedies. Contact us with your order number and the issue so we can investigate. Unresolved consumer complaints may also be raised with the National Consumer Commission or another competent dispute-resolution body.
Your rights
South African law applies. Nothing here excludes mandatory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or other applicable law. Changes to these terms will be dated on this page and will not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing order.
